About me

Letsmakethedifference.org (LMTD) exists to empower people in suppressed economies in Africa by providing technology, education and economic opportunities! We have many programs to assist people to rise in leadership, health & wellness, sustainable farming, and entrepreneurship. LMTD was founded in 2019 by Wendy Huffman when Bill Spalthoff, her partner, died of a stroke while visiting and volunteering in Zambia. Wendy's commitment to creating access to the global economy and leveling the playing field happens through the support of local NGOs and community centers already established and doing well locally. Major course participation is from the Kakuma and Kalobeyei refugee camps in Kenya, Livingstone, Zambia, and Lagos, Nigeria.
