About me
Hi! Thanks for stopping by. I am La Wanna. I am a journal coach, speaker, and author. And I guide individuals on a journey to emotional self-healing, self-awareness, and self-love through journaling and creative writing.
I am so happy I can now offer legal and ID protection for you and your family.
This day has been a long time coming.
For me. It began when my grandfather told me he wanted me to read.
From the moment I learned the letters of the alphabet were sounds and when the letters were put together and formed words, I have been IN LOVE with reading.
The natural progression, of course, is to try writing myself. I found magic in reading someone's words and the vision they formed in my mind.
When I read a book, I live the characters' lives on the pages.
I experience everything the characters feel: the love, the sadness, the adventure, and the thrills of being there with them.
When I was a child, I put myself in the book, replacing the main character or creating lines for me as an additional character.
I am often asked why I do what I do? The truth is. I LOVE LOVE reading, writing, teaching, and sharing what I know.
There is nothing like watching someone transform before your eyes when they get what I am teaching them.
It is what has led me to journal and creative writing.
When someone comes to me because they are stressed, overwhelmed, or lonely, and they do a complete turnaround because of words, a pen, paper, or the use of a computer, I am ECSTATIC..
I experienced the same thing, and it was when I put my thoughts and emotions on paper that I was able to bring myself out of my depression. I was able to ask myself questions about what I could do to turn myself around.
I wondered what I could do.
I received answers to my questions, turning that journal into a book entitled "Courage to live My Dream."
You can find it at https://www.amazon.com/author/lawannagparker
THAT IS WHAT I WANT FOR YOU.
I guide you to be surrounded by others who are experiencing the same things feeling - alone, frustrated, tired, stressed, and overwhelmed
Together, we grow and can help others.
